Manchester United, 21, was arrested in January last year after police entered his residence.
Greenwood was due to stand trial in November on charges of attempted rape and assault.
The prosecution today confirmed that he had dropped all charges against him.
Meanwhile, there has been a reaction from Manchester United Club.
“Manchester United points to the Crown Prosecutor's decision that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped. The club will now conduct its process before determining future steps”, the club announced
