For the 15th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, there will be 30 days of various festive activities.
However, for the manifestation of this important state date, the government has not shared additional financial means.
Kosovo Government officials have said there will be no central budget planned for marking the 15th anniversary of our country's citizenship.
According to the executive, there will be a kind of decentralised budget, where each of the management institutions of activities provides financial resources within its own budgets.
Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has said that due to numerous activities, the State Organising Council has agreed that each institution responsible for its own activities, the budget provides from its own budgets.
The Government's decision to establish the State Organising Council does not specify the budget. Because of the huge volume of accession activities within the Council has been that each institution responsible for its own activities, the budget provides from its own budget. So there won't be a planned central budget but it will be a kind of decentralised budget where each task host institution provides the budget within its own budgets, except when we have far greater budgetary needs then there will be additional divisions from the Ministry of Finance. In principle, however, we are talking about a significant budget”, Kryeziu stressed in a written answer.
