The Kosovo government today will review the Agriculture Ministry's proposal for the appointment of Venera Cerkini, the daughter of President Vjosa Osmani's aunt, in the position of director of an agency within the ministry.
Venera Cerkini has chosen the most successful candidate for the position of director of the Agriculture Development Agency ( AZHB), according to the assessment of a state accession commission founded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The government cabinet, which will meet at 10:00 today, will review the proposal for the appointment of Cerkin at the helm of AZHB, based on the meeting agenda, which it published on Tuesday's portal Democracy.
Cerkin's appointment in this position is disassembled with the British assessment of the competition, Paparaci writes. In assessing experts at the Great Britain Embassy in Kosovo, Cerkini is not even on the narrow list of candidates to be elected to this position.
The British-made assessment shows that the two candidates who could be named in this position, who had scored over 70% of the scores, were Menderes Ibra and Muzafer Luma. Mendras Ibra is estimated at 70.25%, while Muzafer Luma by 70%.
The order of today's government meeting, in addition to the proposal for the appointment of AZHB's director, contains ten more points.
The government, at the agenda of today's meeting, has included reviewing the Market Organising Bill on Agricultural Products, as well as reviewing the proposal for approval of the Trepca loan company's request.
