Germany approves Leopard tanks export to Ukraine

Germany's government has authorised producers to send Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, launching the process of sending war tools towards Kiev and strengthening its military efforts against the Russian occupation.

“I can confirm that the license for export has been issued”, said German government spokesman Stephen Hebestrei, writes Periscopi.

In January -- under pressure from the NATO Aletas Germany agreed to send 14 tanks to Ukraine, the initiative Kiev believes will make a difference in the field of battle, CNN writes.
