With 63 votes per, changes to the 2023 Budget Law have been passed on second reading.
This Law was voted into accelerated form. The vote preceded a fierce debate between the opposition and opposition. The latter, it required that the cofficiency not be below 125 euros, with the PDK demanding that the same be 132 euros.
Therefore, salaries for the month of February will come under the New Law of Salaries.
The total budget for public sector salaries for 2023 will be 745m euros. With the new Law on Salaries, the level of cofficiency is between 2 and 18. The president of the state has been appointed the highest cofficiency, under which it will have the largest salary.
There are about 83 thousand public sector employees who receive salaries from the state budget.
