The FBI is doing research on the American president's home, Joe Biden, in Delaware, as part of the investigation into classified documents that were found to him, have informed his lawyers.
In a statement to the media, lawyers have said the search “was planned”, with full support of the president.
CBS has reported that investigations are under way to find evidence concerning classified documents found in several locations belonging to Beden.
The FBI itself has not commented on the investigation.
