Point 7 of the plan says: “The two sides are committed to achieving specific arrangements, in line with relevant instruments of the Council of Europe and using existing European experiences, to ensure an adequate level of self-government for the Serb community in Kosovo and access to services in certain areas, including the possibility of financial assistance from Serbia and direct communication channels of the Serb community with the Government of Kosovo.
The sides will formalise the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and offer a high level of protection of Serbian religious and cultural heritage, in line with existing European models”.
