The European Union has granted Serbia 165m euros, within the package for energy support.
The agreement is signed today in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and EU Delegation representative in Serbia Emmanuel Giofre.
He has said the agreement is a concrete example of how the European Union solidifies with Serbia.
The Russian subx0vasion in Ukraine has posed a major threat to our economy. The European Union has reacted to the protection of citizens and economies, jointly facing this crisis, and as a result, we have managed to increase energy security”, Giofre said, writes N1, past Periscopi.
Vuciqi, meanwhile, has thanked the European Union for what he said about the additional aid he has given to Serbia.
We accepted one percent of our budget within one day. Within a day, we received this gift from the EU. I want people to know this because sometimes, we underestimate what the EU does for us. They are giving their taxpayers' money to citizens of Serbia”, Vuciq said./Periscopi
