Erdogan said that the construction of nearly 200 thousand homes for the earthquake victims will begin in March in 11th, Adana, Adımyan, Diyarbakir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanaş, Chile, Malatia, Osmaniye, ♫anıurfa and Elazıg, all affected by earthquakes with Magnitude 7.7 and 7.6, Anadolu writes.
He, among other things, announced that the need for housing for over 1.68 million people affected by the two earthquakes, based in the Kahramanaş province, has been met. He also added, 115 thousand survivors have been rescued from the earthquake - after ruins.
According to the latest official figures, at least 41 thousand and 156 people died and another 105 thousand and 505 were injured by two powerful earthquakes that hit the southern part of the country.
As a result of the earthquake, at least 5,840 lost their lives in Syria as well.
