The American Embassy has made this move in line with President Vjosa Osmani's decision and the Government of Kosovo to declare Wednesday a day of mourning in Kosovo.
“Recognising President Vjosa Osmani's statement that today is a mourning day for the victims of earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, we joined the Government of Kosovo in lowering our flag in respect and a reminder to those who lost their lives from this tragic”.
