Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, as he conveyed the team, said it is a contribution returning to Turkey, which has helped Albania consistently even during the November 26th 2019 earthquake.
Turkey is a very important friend to us, which has repeatedly sustained us. So in a way this is the return of the contribution. But even if a disaster occurs another country, our small Albania will show that it is always ready to make its capacities available, because in emergency or solidarity we are already part of the European Civil Protection Mechanism, where we are not only to receive but also to give. I thank you very much for your contribution. Gratitude even on behalf of the Albanian government, the prime minister, and return safe”, Pelesi said.
Part of the ceremony were Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces Brigadier General Arben Kiggi, Civil Protection Agency Director Haki Chako, and FA Forces Commanders.
