The draft for Association and Status for the Serbian Church: Two Hot Points in European Plan

The European plan for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, besides the basic agreement, includes the implementation plan. Dukeagjini yesterday published this content that we are recalling once again, especially point 15 and point 7.

What these points contain:

Association: 15 days after signing the basic agreement:

Point 15:“No later than 15 days after the signing of the basic Agreement, the Managing Team will meet to submit its first status draft to ensure a proper level of self-management for the Serb community in Kosovo in EU facilitated Dialogue, after which the sides will immediately start negotiations for Statsin under the ease of the EU”, says at point 3.

Point 7: Status of the Serbian Orthodox Church: Within 30 days after the establishment of the Joint Committee, Kosovo will formalise the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and launch internal procedures for the protection of Serbian religious and cultural heritage objects, according to the EU-launched Dialogue (point 7 (2) of the Agreement).

A few days ago, Enver Hasani, former head of the Constitutional Court, had highlighted an issue like that of the 7th point, thus expressing itself in KTV, Periscope follows:
