The Washington administration has been constantly more vocal than others in the insistence on forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities, even claiming it should be formed, with or without Kurti. If you analyze statements by state councilors Derek Scholl, Gabriel Escobar and Ambassador Christopher Hill, you will see that in recent months they have sought a Serb majority association more than many countries that have not recognised Kosovo's independence.
So Serbia's Ambassador to America Marko Djuric said in an interview for Serbian Curiri.
Asked what he expects from the February 27th meeting in Brussels in the middle of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, he said the Serbian head of state's participation in talks in Brussels means that Serbia will be presented in a dignified manner.
“President Vuciq's participation in the talks in Brussels means that Serbia will be presented in a dignified, stable, with strategic and thought-and patriotic manner. I say that as someone who participates in such conversations for over a decade, sometimes as witnesses, at times as participants. The Serbian team with the president at the helm will fight to get the maximum for Serbia under terrible international circumstances”, he said.
