For more than six months, several clinics at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (QKUK) continue to be guided by task manager. While in some clinics where directors have been appointed, there are problems with the law or accusations of political appointments, reports Online Economy.
MPs from the Kosovo Parliament -- from the position and opposition -- worryfully estimate the lack of selection of directors, until the main blame is left to the Ministry of Health and the SKKUK Board.
Vetevendosje Movement MP Burim Meta has said that the reason clinics are tasked is because of some members of the Kosovo Hospital Service Board and University Clinic ( Sa SHOW).
He says a task leader cannot be successful as a director with full competence.
We unfortunately have the director of SKKKUK in such a position. As it turned out, and I'm hoping we'll soon have the principal selected through the competition. But I appreciate that no matter what the number of directors who don't have the administrative advantage of their position as director, I don't think they can have the right and expected success of a task officer, as an elected director of”, Meta said.
He has also mentioned the departure of the director of the Oncology Clinic two weeks after being appointed to this position.
As Meta says, some board members want <x0halite” in the work of others.
We have the case of a newly elected director after a week or two, seeking to be relieved. This isn't human, I don't think it's a good job. I don't want to believe that there may be pressures on the job, I don't want to believe there may be any blackmail or sabotage of the directors at work, and especially on whitemen who can't afford it. Some board members have a little bit of fun about being involved in other people's work, maybe that's it. I don't want to speak with names, but I think some members who are part of the Board don't belong in Bord”, he says.
And Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Bekim Hadziu sees the directors' non-appointed as opportunities to control and blackmail them. He says the main blame is the SSKKUK Board and the Health Ministry.
“It is without responsibility of the Ministry of Health and the SKKKUK Board that now of more than 6 months has many leadership positions that are responsible for the task force that is a form of control and blackmailing task makers, to have impacted the SSKKUK Board and the Health Ministry in these health sector leaders, Haxhiu said.
According to him, the Government's priority for the health sector has become more business. He considers there have also been party-based appointments.
“Of course law enforcement, because there should be announced competition and selected according to the Health Law competition or under the SSCUK statute, and in most of these cases we have had political, nonprofessional and professionally based appointments or elections”, Haxhiu said.
While Democratic League of Kosovo MP Valentina Bulnjaku has said that, along with clinics that are taskeering, essential services are also lacking.
And this is initially unfair to the parties that go to these services because we already know that essential services are missing in our hospitals and our QKMF, and it's unfair that the tasks management positions and important positions that help and serve our citizens” will remain to be observed, she said. / EO/
