Cedomir Jovanovic: I'm not arrested. I'm on the mountain.

In a statement for “Ineksonline”, the prominent Serbian politician, has dismissed reports that he was sent to custody for 48 hours.

No... (laughs) I'm in the mountains with my wife and children. Nothing happened. Yeah, I know about the Serbian media reports. But there's news news”, he said.

Furthermore, Jovanovic stressed that a portal, without confirmation, has reported on whether the arrest was linked to an attack on lawyer Nemanja Aleksic from Novi Sad.

I have always been followed by false crime reports and everything else. It's normal for me to report without confirmation. Something similar happened a few months ago. And that seems to be following me... ”, he said.

We remember that Cedomir Jovanovic is among the rare politicians in Serbia who recognise Kosovo's independence.

“ ...Kosovo is independent. Others know that. I admit it, I don't think I can argue with him. This fact is like physics”, he said.
