Also, at today's plenary session so far, it has voted the draft law on changing and fulfilling laws involving rationalisation and shifting accounting lines of executive agencies.

The Democratic League of Kosovo has upheld the law, while other parties have not participated in the vote.

LDK MP Doarsa Kica-Jeli said the bureau will take place, but not at the expense of politicisation.

Despite all of this, this bill gives support to Venice's approval. So we vote for. Voted support, however, does not mean that we have no remarks and no questions. The bill we're voting today thankfully differs from the unconstitutional draft that was voted in July 2022, but still there is uncertainty. Let the Bureau be done, let it seize thousands and millions, since no citizen has earned revenge or the smooth justice system, but not at the expense of politicisation”, she said.

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu said the purpose of the bill is not to hit any public official, but only the unwarranted assets of any official.

The goal is not to hit an official, but the goal is to combat the unwarranted wealth of any official”, she said.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Kosovo warned that the same would be sent to the Constitutional Court.

In terms of this bill, 61 votes were pro, none against and no abstention, with the permanent and functional commission being commissioned to handle this bill and bring it to second reading.
