“The Brussels Meeting may bring reconciliation to move away”

At tomorrow's warned meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, there is expected to be compliance in principle to proceed further with proposals and arguments for the European plan. So says in an interview for Radio Kosovo, Albanian political analyst Pula. The chicken is critical of international pressure on Kosovo and [...]

Pula is critical of international pressure on Kosovo and short memory that European Union officials have.

Tomorrow's meeting in Brussels between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq is likely to pass with a compatibility between the parties in principle, for the content of the European plan. At least that's how political analyst Shqirim Pula sees the situation.

The “The options are to have postponements, in terms of deadlines, but, in consideration, proposals and reasonings will be taken on proposals made by European Union Emisars. Therefore, I do not expect there will be any signature but there may be any agreement in principle to move forward with proposals and reasoning on proposals that already some part of them have been made public either on the part of Brussels or local media”, Shqirim Pula said.

The chicken does not expect much from the February 27th meeting in Brussels. He argues further, saying:

The <x0 characters in this case at Monday's meeting will be at a meeting with certain conditions and of course the parties who participate in the pre-set terms dialogue result in the meetings being minimally successful, not saying it failed”.

In an interview for Radio Kosovo, recognition of political circumstances in the country, Shqirim Pula says it should be remembered as early as June 2013 The Kosovo Assembly has adopted the law, which envisions normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

That law was decreed at that time on September 1st 2013 by President Jahjaga, and there it was foretold that normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations would continue with reaching agreements on topics that are of interest to both countries, while now when the idea of a normament of relationships is being trumpeted, it seems to have been left in oblivion -10 years ago and is replaying the goals of the then”, Pula says.

Analyst Shqirim Pula has once criticised the approach of senior European Union officials in relation to Kosovo, in terms of pressure, and in the sense of short mind or short memory, as he said, on acts that took place 10 years ago.
