US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has congratulated Kosovo on the 15th anniversary of independence, with which he has even conveyed some messages about the European proposal within dialogue with Serbia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore (MPJD) Donika Grovalla on social networks has published Blinken's letter, in which she writes that the European proposal remains key to normalising Kosovo-Serbia reports.
He said this proposal also brings eventual reciprocal recognition, and that, with US support, dialogue will advance Kosovo's membership in European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
The stable partnership between the United States and Kosovo is rooted in mutual understanding, values and friendship among our people. I look forward to continuing co-operation for our common priorities to strengthen security and stability in Kosovo and the Western Balkans”.
“Normising relations with Serbia, with eventual mutual recognition at centre, remains essential for this. The recently proposed agreement in the context of EU facilitated dialogue has our strong support and will greatly lead your country towards greater regional stability and European and Euro-Atlantic integration”, Blinken's letter said.
