“cannot finally confirm what the original goal was, but it doesn't matter because what we saw when it was above the United States was clearly an attempt to observe some very sensitive military centres”, Blinken said in an interview for ABC.

After the collapse of the suspected Chinese balloon, the US Army brought down three other items that were very small and believed not to have had any connection to any of the country's surveillance progms, American President Joe Biden said last week.
