He will give his speech to the Polish capital, Warsaw, a day after his surprise visit to Ukraine.

His speech comes hours after Russia's Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow was suspending participation in a key arms control treaty with the US.

He made the announcement in his speech about the state of the nation.

The leaders' competitive speeches come days before the first anniversary of Ukraine's full occupation by Russia.

In Warsaw, the American president is expected to highlight the vital role the United States has played in promoting Western support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.

But it will also seek to support its policy in the country, where some politicians are expressing doubts about the extent of US involvement.

In his speech a drop of stone from the Kremlin, Putin again blamed the West for Russia's invasion, complaining of Western hypocrisy and for withdrawing from the basic “accords”.

Putin also reiterated his groundless claim that Moscow had faced a neo-Nazi threat from Ukraine, which he used as an excuse to launch his special military operation <x0).

He said Russia would suspend its participation in the “treaty in the Start” ) the last remaining nuclear arms agreement between Russia and the US by adding: “No one should have the illusion that global strategic equality can be violated”.

Ahead of his speech, US President Joe Biden will meet with Poland's leader, Andreze Duda and other Central European allies to discuss bilateral co-operation and strengthen NATO against aggression.

This was after Biden met with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Kiev on Monday, saying at a press conference that the US will support Ukraine “as long as it needs”.

The duo also visited a memorial for soldiers who have died in the nine years since Russia annexed Crimea and its representative forces occupied parts of the eastern region of Donbas.

After the visit, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced a new security assistance package for Ukraine worth $450m, as well as an additional $10m in emergency assistance to maintain Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Klankosova broadcasts.tv.

A new wave of sanctions against individuals and companies “who are trying to avoid or fill Russia's” war machine will also be announced later this week.

The U.S. is one of Ukraine's largest allies and has already provided billions of dollars in military assistance.

Beden recently announced that the country he leads would send 31 longer-range battle tanks and rockets, but so far has stopped sending F-16 fighter aircraft, despite repeated calls for them from Ukraine.

However, Zelensky said Monday he had discussed with Joe Beden the possibility of sending other US weapons.
