Ambassador Robo: No Albanian citizen remains victim to earthquake in Turkey

Albania's Ambassador to Turkey, Kastriot Robo, has said that the Albanian nationals who lost their lives in the earthquake that struck the country several days ago.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Robo said some Turkish citizens of Albanian origin are among the victims, while adding that they still do not have accurate figures.

“Facebookly, it does not result in our being victimised by Albanian citizens. Several victims, members of the Albanian community, are Turkish citizens of Albanian origin in these affected areas”, Robo said.

“Accurate statistics we do not possess, but regarding the associations of Albanians in these countries, we are aware that they have lost their relatives. There is no exact number, in terms of this number of Albanians affected in these” areas, he stressed.
