40 days of detention for Gjilan football player, suspected of domestic violence

The Foundation Court in Gjilan has approved Gjilan's Constitutional Prosecutor's request, assigning the 40-day detention measure to Gjilan football player Theophilus Solomon.

According to the Court's announcement, there is doubt that in 2021, the convicted Th. S. (Volunteer) in their common home has caused body harm to E. P., with what he committed the criminal act “committed in the family” by Article 130/A/1 of Albania's Penal Code, for which the work has been tried 11 months and 6 days in prison.

According to the judge's assessment, since the suspect may be escaping has been assigned detention measures.

The same “has initially escaped from the state where it has committed criminal work and that the same one following Albania's escape has settled in Kosovo, where on October 17th, 2022 has received residence permits in Pristina and the same subject paperwork has Nigeria's citizenship, these circumstances sufficient that if found in freedom may be elusive for justice organs<1>.
