As a result of investigations by the chief prosecutor of the 11 provinces affected by earthquakes, 564 suspects were identified in violation of the building rules of the collapsed facilities as a result of the quakes. At least 160 of them were arrested. The rest are on the run.
Under investigation into robbery cases have identified 282 suspects, 181 of them have been arrested.
