Sahin Firat is the president of the Turkish-Scoze Chamber of Commerce and which is co-ordinating donations for appeal to the earthquake in the Scottish capital.
I've only lost more than 120 people to my family, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandchildren... and also others from my village, neighbours”, he told the BBC Radio Good Morning 2010 programme.
Each day is worse and worse. It's an emergency situation, such as the war, we've been collecting clothes, food, but now they need money to keep them from having a house”, he said, pointing to the situation going on there.
