Zelensky: I never spoke to Victor Orban about a truce with Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been asked today whether Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban or any other leader has tried to convince Ukraine to accept a ceasefire with Russia.

Zelensky said he never spoke to Orban about a ceasefire with Russia at once “”, he reiterated.

“Perhaps he is bringing these views with his friends”, the Ukrainian leader said, adding that he believes Hungary's policies are not always polite with Ukraine.

He says Ukraine and Hungary are neighbouring states, “even with all these challenges, and we're trying to find the solution” for difficult issues.

Regarding Ukraine's bid to join the EU, Zelensky says he previously urged Orban to explain why his country would not support the move. <x)
