Now, the European Union is urging Serbia to investigate all irregularities reported in the December 17th elections, where the winner came up with a <x0); Alexander Vuciq Serbia cannot stop”, with 46.7 per cent of the vote.
The elections in Serbia are also criticising Eurodeput, Violet Von Cramon, who says there has been misuse of administrative resources during the election process in Serbia.
On the other hand, Cromon says the ruling party used all possible means to secure votes.
“A large group of monitors from O The EU, ODHIR and the European Parliament closely monitored elections in Serbia. Their reports clearly state that in the elections in Serbia, there have been abuses of administrative resources, vote purchases, and false records. Most problems are recorded in Serbia's capital in Belgrade. The ruling party used all possible means available to take votes, and this is a flagrant violation of international standards for free and democratic elections”, there is basically Eurodeput for Tv 1
The MEP of the European Parliament recognises the protest of Serbian citizens who are demanding that elections be repeated in Belgrade.
According to her, there were serious efforts at political change in Serbia, so there is frustration among Serbian citizens.
The citizens' response in Belgrade was very normal, because they are assessing that there was no justice and their voice was not heard. Particularly the new generations were hopeful that something would change through these elections, they were waiting for hours to vote and the election exit was huge. So there were serious attempts at change, but now that you see all these offenses that happened, of course you're going out on the street to protest. It is now important to see what the Serbian state's response to the protestors” will be, she says.
Von Croamon has also talked about the issue of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
She estimates that after the government's formation in Serbia, there will be a new moment in the process.
I think that after these elections in Serbia, a new moment in the dialogue will be created, because the time has come for concrete results. The European Union and the United States of America are strongly supporting the dialogue, but it is still up to the parties to show more will”, Cromon said.
Aleksandar Vuciq's Serbian Progressive Party has declared victory at all levels.
