Now when we entered 2024, citizens can travel visa-free to the Schengen area.

Kosovo citizens have welcomed the year 2024 by gaining the right to travel visa-free to the Schengen area.

In 2012, European Union institutions (BE) commissioned Kosovo to meet 95 criteria for having the right to visa-free travel.

The process was blocked many times because of Kosovo's failure to meet certain criteria and the lack of EU side will on this issue by adding new criteria.

What travel documents are needed to exploit visa-free travel to the Schengen area?
