Kosovo citizens, from January 1st 2024, will be able to travel visa-free to 27 states in the Schengen area. This regime, however, carries certain rules that must be followed otherwise follows fines or entry stops.
With visa removal, citizens can stay up to 90 days within six months in the Schengen area.
Visa-free travel should be called for tours, family issues, business meetings, study programs, or similar ones.
With yourself you should have the address of accommodation, return ticket, and evidence of adequate financial means, health insurance is recommended but not mandatory.
What doesn't allow visa liberalisation?
Visa-free travel cannot enable you to work. If you think to apply, you must apply for a working visa in the state consular office. The visa-free stance does not offer them the right to seek asylum in any country in the Schengen area.
Abuses could lead to financial fines and result in expulsion or stopping access to the Schengen area for up to 5 years.
