He will be prime minister of Northern Macedonia from January 28th until the election of the new government. His arrival to the head of the North Macedonian government returns the number of three Albanian prime ministers to the region, following the departure of Dritan Abazovic from the position of Montenegrin prime minister.
Northern Macedonia's Speaker, Talat Xhaferi, through a video presentation said the nomination for the technical government's prime minister is for respect and particular confidence.
The “for me means particular respect and trust from party bodies to nominated me to this task. I believe with greater responsibility I will respond to the new task entrusted to me and I hope that the expectations of the citizens of” will be realized, Xhaferi said.
