The Great Snow Unable to Fly at Munich Airport

Flights to Munich Airport, south of Germany, have been suspended until noon Saturday, due to heavy snow, airport officials have said.

According to them, snow management services are working to restore operations.

The vast amount of snow has already disturbed train services south of Bavaria, and Munich's main train station is virtually blocked.

Long distance train services have been cancelled and the measure is expected to be implemented all Saturday.
