Shala: The government Kurti reduced the budget and categories released from the KLA war, no feelings for them either.

The four municipalities led by the PDK, the government has not been given a single cent for new projects. According to MP Ferat Shala, this shows the frustration the Kurti government has in relation to citizens who did not vote the LVV candidates for mayor.

According to MP Shala, the 2024 draft has passed, not considering any proposals either by opposition or civil society.

“This is the political budget, discrimination and no developmental, because at the local level, the government cannot control the budget because there are only four municipalities and 78% divided by 22% has done it for this very reason, this has never happened to this day. We have zero investments for new projects in four leading the PDK, and this shows how unprogressive and discriminated against this government is. What Drenica must do most to be treated differently from this government, this region has mostly former military and disabled war, is the region that has largely been destroyed in the last war, has been ignored for decades of investment, and today a government that does not share a single cent for new projects in this region. This is terrible and unforgivable for this government”, MP Shala has said.

Send the deputy of The PDK has said that Kurti Government for 2024 has increased the budget for goods and services that show it is not focused on development but on luxury.

For 2024, according to MP Shala, the government has planned 518m euros for goods and services at each government dictatorship and according to him conflicts with any promise this government has made to come to power. Shala has said that only the Culture Ministry has allocated over 500 thousand euros per car, while not a cent for Skender.

“This does not deserve the country's citizens, it does not deserve Mitrovica, it does not deserve Prizren, it does not deserve this discrimination as if many other sectors do not deserve it. Then the budget more an AKP, which for the sake of coming to power, has been marred by this government and has promised to shut down than a whole municipality is unacceptable. You remember the black jeeps spoken of by the prime minister, now for only one year, a ministry buys 500 thousand euros in cars. So by increasing the luxury budget and making budget cuts in the vital sector, this is unacceptable. In addition to municipalities, this government of Kosovo has contracted the budget for nearly one million euros, including UP. This budget has discriminated against education, culture science and buys car”, Shala has said.

Another category that has less budget than last year for more than 3m euros is also the categories released from the KLA war. This, according to MP Shala, shows that this Government has neither compassion nor feelings for this category.
