Serbian telecom owned company violated Kosovo's competition laws, sentenced to nearly 1.6m euros

Company “MTS d.o.o” owned by Serbia's Telekom has been fined 1m-and-a-half euros, as the Kosovo Competition Agency reports, the company has violated competition protection laws when skee submitted requests for reporting on the case of buying 100 %s shares of “V G N NNET d.o.o”, [...]
The Competition Authority of the Republic of Kosovo announced that it has made a decision that the MTS d.o. branch in Kosovo will be pronounced the administrative-fine sanctions measure in many of 1,563,959.26 (one million and sixty-three thousand and nine hundred and fifty euros nine and six euro and six cents) ”, the communique says.
“AKRK reports that the MTS d.o.o.oka company violated the Law's provisions for the Protection of Competition, failing to submit the requirement for forced attention for the purchase of 100% shares of companies: V GN NET d.o.o, lika d.o.o, PP. PRKDS-IMPULS on behalf of I. R. B.I. and Herc International”, points out communiqué.
The Competition Authority of the Republic of Kosovo as a public institution independent of carrying out its commands defined in the law will be in service of all citizens and in defence of the competition law”, the Republic of Kosovo Competition Authority's communique says.
