New Democratic Party of Serbia Chairman Milos Jovanovic said the expressed expectations of European officials for the Franco-German agreement to be formalised by the end of January 2024, confirm once again that the agreement in question has been accepted by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and that Serbia is now only expected to establish the signing.
We also stress that the Franco-German agreement, which significantly recognises the secession of our southern province, is unconstitutional and anti-state and, as such, is absolutely unacceptable”, Jovanovic said, reports n1info.
He added that the agreement should be rejected urgently and overall.
“In the continuation of major riots over Belgrade elections, major irregularities, terrible abuses of the right of attitude, lack of response from competent institutions, as well as a lack of rule of law, we remind you that rule of the law is based on respect for the principles of constitutionality and legitimacy, and that the Constitution, as the highest judicial act, should be respected in all its provisions”, Jovanovic stressed.
As he said, one of the most important provisions of the Constitution in Serbia says “that Kosovo be an integral and inevitable part of Serbia”.
