Security Measure Decision once again postponed for Sali Berisha

Again, measures for Sali Berisha are postponed. Journalist Ermal Vina told ABC News that the announcement of the JKKO decision for the former prime minister was decided to be delivered on Saturday, December 30th, 12:00. Judge Irena Gjona argued that the postponement of the decision is to give time to lawyers who sought to get acquainted today [...]
Judge Irena Gjona argued that the delay in announcing the decision is made to give lawyers time today who sought to get acquainted with audio recordings and processions and recent sessions held in the JCKKO. Former Prime Minister Berisha's legal defenders suggest that Judge Gjona has been unilateral to their demands, thus requiring access to audio materials and session processes.
The session is postponed for Saturday on December 30th to enable defence lawyers to deposit the request for court exemption”, the JCKKO reported.
In a brief press proposal at the end of the session, Berisha's defence attorney argued the request for obtaining evidence from the JKKO
“We have received within the legal deadline the evidence that will accompany the request, the evidence we think supports the request for the expulsion of Judge Irena Gjona. It's those trials that prove the bias of the judge.”, said lawyer Goquitaj.
The Special Prosecutor asked the court to harden the security measure by arguing that Sali Berisha has not respected the court's ruling, which forced him to appear at the prosecutor's first and third Monday of the month. The SPAK called for the measure of house arrest for Sali Berisha with police surveillance.
Former Prime Minister Berisha is a person under investigation on the privatisation procedures of the former Sportist Partizan complex, which is suspected of passive corruption, favouring his groom, Jamarber Malltezi, one of the owners of that site, where a group of palaces were later built. /abcnews
