International police organization, I NTERPOL, issued an arrest warrant for former Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojicic, in connection with the armed attack on Banjska quite northern Kosovo.
The news was confirmed to Radio Free Europe Nenad Rassic, minister for Communists and Kthim in the Government of Kosovo.
He said the order was issued with the mediation of the United Nations mission in Kosovo, U n NIMK, on the basis of the Kosovo Ministry of Internal Affairs' request.
Since Kosovo is not an Interpol member, international arrest warrants are issued this way.
On 24 September, armed Serb groups attacked Kosovo police in the village of Banjska in Zvecan, killing Sergeant Africa Bulnjaku.
Three Serb attackers were also killed in the subsequent armed clashes.
Milan Radocic, former deputy chairman of the Serbian List in Kosovo, took responsibility for the attack.
Radocic was questioned by Serbia's Prosecution in October and loaded with several works, including arms trafficking and causing general danger.
However, the court in Belgrade released him from custody, but confiscated his documents.
Through a public letter read by his lawyer on 29 September, Radoicic said that “personally” has organised the armed rebellion in northern Kosovo.
He denied the responsibility of Serbia's state authorities in the attack.
