The MPB's response reportedly said that 287 thousand and 965 citizens in the year we left after receiving the Kosovo passport.
According to the “Henley Postport” Index, which is a specialised passport website, Kosovo citizens can travel without visas with their country's passport to 14 other countries in the world.
In Europe, Kosovo citizens could so far travel only to its neighbouring states: Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Albania and Montenegro. Citizens could also travel visa-free to Turkey.
But after visa liberalisation, there is no doubt that Kova's passport will be empowered and citizens will have the opportunity to travel only with passports to the Schengen area as well.
According to the latest data, Singapore tops the list, and the citizens of this country can travel visa-free to 192 from 227 countries. Germany, Italy and Spain share second place.
Next are Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Luxembourg, South Korea and Sweden in third place. The fourth is Denmark, Ireland, Holland, and the United Kingdom.
