Reagon Eagle Arifi: Albin Kurti split the Valley, over 600,000 Albanians boycotted elections

Yesterday, the parliamentary elections process in the Presevo Valley wrapped up, marking the lowest voter turnout in the last three decades. Weeks earlier, we have warned that Albanians in the Valley will boycott these elections, which has happened.

This, as a result of the involvement of Prime Minister Kurti, who has divided the Albanian political spectrum in the Valley into two lists for the race in parliamentary elections. As a result, a significant majority of Albanian citizens, over 60 thousand, chose the boycott of elections as a form of protest against the political spectrum in Presevo and Bujanoc.

Ignoring and neglecting meetings and negotiations with leaders of the mother state of Albania is a moral and national responsibility that Shaip Kamber and Albin Kurti will carry through history. Kurti's relations with the leaders of Albania were also imposed today on the people of Presevo.

For this political moment, the entire Albanian leadership in the Presevo Valley will be held responsible.

These elections are a setback for Albanians in the Valley, not only because of the rift, but also with the representation of only one MP in the Serbian Parliament, despite the potential to send three or four MPs.

Beyond the reasons they led to the boycott, there is the awareness of citizens with expectations of the outcome that the MP would bring to Belgrade, where unfortunately every MP's mandate has disappointed them in recent decades.

Albanians no longer expect one or two MPs to bring about changes for Albanians in Belgrade. Historically, MPs, with their lack of efficiency, have failed to bring positive results to the Albanian population of the Valley, because they have primarily served the fulfillment of personal-party appetites with self-centered politics.

We had also warned of sending Kosovo means X 2m euros, which were brutally mishandled by the PVD for these parliamentary elections, which invested them in vote buying.

This has also delayed the outcome of Kurti's “list and has enabled it to have a mini-relevance of the Camber List compared to last year.

So local corruption by misusing Kosovo's means of vote buying for Camberi has been at the highest possible level yesterday.

But what remains unclear is the goal of Prime Minister Kurti, following all that investment in the parliamentary elections; was he aiming to send more than one MP and the results deviated from his plans, or was only aiming to send Camber as the only deputy as the chief arm. This uncertainty remains undefinated.

Voters of the largest party in the Valley, A LTERNATIVA for change, split into two lists and the selective support of Prime Minister Kurti brought about a despair that led to the boycott of these elections. As a result, the outcome of our list well reflects this despair, and we have only one MP, not three.

20 years of political experience of Camber and Mustaf (which Mustafa was always against) Kamberi's PVD, 20 years of extortion and co-operation with Serbia, and which have failed uncut citizens.

Today, as Albanians in the Valley split and still after 20 years did not learn to put personal interests aside and establish unity among Albanians, they joined together for the same purpose, joined around the only source they can exploit, which is the budget of the Kosovo government.

And on the other side of the Serbian parliament except to kiss Vuciqi's hand, the results and solutions to Albanian problems will be 0.
