Kosovo's Statistics Agency has released the harmonised Consumer Awards Index for November 2023 on Friday.
According to the AKS, the overall harmonised consumer prices index is higher at an average of 2.9% in November 2023, compared to November 2022.
Monthly inflation, however, was (-0.1%) in November 2023.
The overall harmonised consumption prices “is higher at an average of (2.9 %) in November 2023 compared to November 2022”, the ASS report said.
The approach is said to be mainly explained with the rise in consumer prices in this period and subgroups of COICOP: trees 19,4%, vegetables 16,1%, goods and services for the usual maintenance of the domestic economy 10.8 %s, sugar, jam, milk, chocolate and sweets 7,7%, food products 7.0%, clothing and shoes, alcoholic beverages, tobacco 5.9%, resolutions and culture 5.3%.
Also, electricity, gas and other fuels increased by 4.8%, bread and cereals 3.5%, goods and services, 2.7% and meat (1.2%), and with a common impact of these sub-groups of 3.1 percent on IHCK.
As prices drop in groups and subgroups of COICOP: oils and fats (-10.3%) and solid fuels, firewood, diapers, etc. (-4.9%) with a common impact of these subgroups -0.2 percent on IHCH.
According to the AKS, the overall harmonised consumer price index suffered a drop to an average of 0.11 % in November 2023 compared to October 2023. This is largely explained by the decline in consumer prices in COICOP subgroups: transport services (-4.0%) and fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment (-3.6%) with a common impact of these subgroups -0.4 percent on IHCK.
While price hikes are noted in COICOP groups and subgroups: electricity, gas and other fuel tissues, %9, milk, cheese and eggs 0.8, and food and non-alcohol drinks 0.2%, and with a common impact of these subgroups of 0.3 percent on IHCH. /Telegraphy/
