Police detail the murder of Liridone: It's confiscated a 19-round pistol and cars used in the murder case.

Kosovo police have provided additional details regarding the arrest of Naim Mursel, Granit Plav and Cocaja as suspects concerning the murder of Liridona Ademiaj, the evening of November 29th.

Through a 24-hour report, police have suggested that a 19-shot pistol and a car that has been used in serious crime has been found and confiscated.

By the prosecutor's decision, the suspects were sent to maintenance. The case has qualified as “grave murder”.

Mursel is suspected to have paid Granit 30 thousand euros to kill his wife. It is reported that 15 grand had been given before the crime, and another 15 grand after the murder.

Officially still confirmed, but media reports are that Plava has pleaded guilty to the murder of 30 years old, saying that Naim Mursel ordered the murder and that Mursel also admitted it before investigators.

After their arrest, the State Police and Prosecutor have come out with a joint communiqué, where they were told they were arrested in Gjakova and that the weapon allegedly committed was seized.

Under the State Prosecutor's Office and with the approval of Pristina's pre-procedure judge, the Pristina General Investigations Unit, under the Kosovo Police, have conducted raids at two locations in Gjakova, with the case being arrested by G.P. (Applause) And N.M. (the victim's husband) suspected of killing the victim, and the weapon allegedly used in this case has been seized, said the report.

Regarding the murder of Liridona, there is also the arrest of Cocalla, who is reported to be Naim Mursel's grandson.

The cocaine is a member of the Kosovo Security Force. This is confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.

The “among those arrested as suspects in the Pristina assassination is also K.K. Justice bodies are investigating the case, but also this case will be handled within the KSF's responsible bodies, according to regulations and law in force”, the Ministry's announcement said.

In the case, Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has reacted, who has said this crime will not go unpunished.

She said Mursel had tried to conceal serious crime by saying it was the target of a robbery.

“With intensive work, commitment and co-operation between police and prosecution, two persons suspected of killing women in Pristina have been arrested. One of the persons arrested is the husband of the late Liridona, who had allegedly tried to conceal serious crime by saying it was the target of a robbery.

I highly appreciate the police and prosecutor's commitment to clarifying the circumstances that led to this serious crime that took the lives of the deceased Liridona. This crime will not go unpunished. Criminals will face justice”, Haxhi wrote.

They had applied for divorce in 2019, but the case had been epilogued

A document providing the Express newspaper confirms that Naim and Liridona had made a joint request for divorce before Swedish authorities in January 2019.

However, divorce had taken place, since within six months to one year, no one had gone to confirm that they wanted a divorce.

The District Court of the town of Wooddevalla on February 24, 2020, had decided to dismiss the case from further prosecution.

On January 31, 2019, Liridone Murseli and Naim Murseli have delivered a joint declaration of divorce. The District Court ruled that divorce be preceded by a period of at least six months and a year's maximum. In terms of the ruling, the district court announced the parties could ask in writing for partition within the deadline. No request for a divorce decision has reached the district court. How did I try to hide the case?

Heavy crime took place on the evening of November 29th, around 20:26, on “Dalip Alspi”, in Pristina.

The case was originally qualified as “Grabbity with the consequences of killing” based on Naim Mursel's confession.

The 24 - hour police report told them that the victim was in the car with her husband and two children when an unknown armed person stopped them and demanded all their valuables and then fired a gun.

In the meantime, Naim Mursel's father, Shaban Mursel, gave a version yesterday, where Liridona, according to him, had in his bag three thousand euros and had resisted.
