Police investigators from the Regional Centre for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Mitrovica-North, at the request of the Basic Prosecutor in Mitrovica and in co-operation with the Kosovo Anti-Smuggle Unit, have today continued the operation that had begun on December 21st in Leposaviq.
The police operation is under suspicion that criminal acts were committed “Trade prohibited” and “Avoid paying mandatory customs or excise fees”.
During the search at the warehouse of a market, the property of suspect G.T., (Birth year 1968, Kosovo female), have been found and seized by Kosovo Customs food goods, mainly non-alcoholic drinks and other food items.
The case will be addressed in co-ordination with Kosovo's justice organs and Customs.
