On January 1st, Kosovars will move visa-free to countries belonging to the Schengen area.
But there are also certain rules to be known for moving to this area.
To enter the Schengen area, it is important to have a passport with sufficient deadlines.
Your passport should be valid for at least three months after the planned Schengen Zone exit date.
For example, if you plan to enter the Schengen area on March 1st, 2024 and state to the border police that you will stay until March 15th, 2024 then your passport should be valid at least by June 15th, 2024, or three months after the scheduled return date.
