The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has said there is a tendency for measures imposed by the European Union to be used to condition Kosovo on issues different from the reason they are set up.
So she has said at a joint conference with Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev, who is staying for a visit to Pristina, reports Klan Kosova.
“Those that have been requested by Kosovo have already occurred and measures have only had to be removed because there are measures that negatively affect our citizens”, Osmani has said.
Unfortunately, they have not yet left, and I agree that there is a tendency by some that now the measures to be used as a way to condition Kosovo on completely different issues from the reason they are set up at the outset”, she added.
In addition, she has said that this logic would only negatively affect the dialogue process with Serbia.
