The event that shook the opinion last week where Liridona Ademiaj was killed until suspected of her murder plan is her husband, Naim Murseli, who allegedly, in co-operation with his grandson, has also paid a lot of money to kill Liridona, in an event that was first presented as a robbery, in which case Sweden's ambassador to Kosovo has spoken.
Sweden's Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund, has commented on the murder of Liridona Ademiaj, Swedish citizen, who said the Swedish state is working closely with Kosovo authorities on investigating this case, which he named “mister”.
“We are working continuously about this case together with local Kosovo authorities. This is a very sensitive case and there's a lot of mystery about this case, I can't say more, we're working on this case with the authorities. But I also want to stress that we have debated many recent days about violence against women and the “16 days of activism against violence against women”, he said.
Asked whether the Swedish state would seek the extradition of Liridona Ademiaj's husband, Naim Murseli, the ambassador said the case occurred in Kosovo and that he cannot make further comments at this stage.
Westerlund said the large number of cases of violence reported to the police are disturbing and that childicide is present in Kosovo.
I want to underline that violence must be stopped, there are more than 2,000 cases reported by police on violence against women. Over 2,000 cases are many. We have six cases against childicide and in Europe 20, where 3 cases are during 2022, so enough is”, he said. / RTK
