Main evidence of Donjeta Pajasitaj's murder sent to the U.S. for examination

Main evidence in the case of Donjeta Pajasitaj's murder has been sent to the United States for examination.

For the death of Donjeta Pajasitaj in 2015, the victim's only suspect, Naser Pajazitaj, was sentenced to life in prison in July 2019.

This sentence had been eased by the Court of Appeals in prison sentences for 35 years.

In April of this year, the Supreme Court had cleared him of charges of murder by Naser Pajazitaj.

According to the indictment of 2017, while Donjett Pajazitaj was on his way to work, accused Naser Pajazitaj had stopped by car and had taken Donjata to the town of Lithia Kroi.

On the other hand, according to the indictment, the defendant, with two bullets in his head, had killed him and then left the scene.

But on these charges, the Constitutional Court in Pec in the absence of evidence in 2018 had acquitted Naser Pajazitaj of the charges, but the verdict had not been hired by the Court of Appeals, which had decided to bring the case back to trial again, resulting in a life sentence for Pajazitay.

Naser Pajaziaj has demanded 1m and 150 thousand euros in damages for the damage he claims caused during the time he faced those charges.

The Kosovo Judiciary Council has decided to repay Naser Pajazitaj with 61 thousand and 777 euros and 16 cents.

However, the latter has refused that amount by insisting on the amount required by him.
