His full post:
With Christmas near, the last weeks of the year in Brussels are particularly busy. On Monday, I welcomed to Brussels top Serbian negotiator Petar Petkov. Our discussions covered a series of topics, including the draft status establishment of the majority Serb municipalities in Kosovo, the necessary steps for implementing the Road Agreement towards Normalisation and other pending obligations.
On Wednesday, I engaged in a detailed video conference with Kosovo's first Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislim, discussing a comprehensive list of dialogue issues. We agreed on the next steps in the process. While discussions with the two negotiators were productive, further consultations in the coming period will be necessary.
In addition to my bilateral discussions, I had the opportunity to participate in a conference organised by the European Peace Institute, where I shared knowledge of continued normalisation efforts and discussed their latest report and recommendations. I welcomed their detailed research efforts and look forward to future commitments.
