Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurt at the recently united “conference against violence enough!” has spoken of the murder case of Liridona Ademij and the kidnapping and then the 14-year-old murder in Skopje.
Kurti has said that the mandatory “murder of Liridona Ademiaj from her husband” and “kidna's 14-year-old” in Skopje have listed the minds and hearts of all.
Another number one of the Government of Kosovo has said that lawmakers and perpetrators of the Liridona Ademij case have been caught and put behind bars, but say only the arrest is not enough.
Kurti has said the courts should address cases of violence against women and girls to priority and that merit punishment is needed.
The recent <x0) murders, the ordered murder of Liridona Ademiaj by her husband and the kidnapping and killing of 14 years in Skopje have weighed our minds and hearts. Orderers and perpetrators of the Liridona case have been caught and put behind bars. The alert police are never acting fast and efficient. But only arrest is enough. Because they are aware that there are similar and not few cases when criminals are released and the works are being repeated even more seriously than the first time. We need the entire justice system to prioritize cases of violence against girls and women. There's no way to say it takes merit punishment. The balance of punishment is causing the repetition of crime. Setting justice is a necessary condition for a free and democratic society, and what we aspire to forever remaining”
