Prime Minister Albin Kurti has again commented on a statement by emissary Miroslav Lajcak, who said the issue of Association is the internal issue of Kosovo and that Serbia should not sign agreement with Kosovo.
Kurti said his statement is “the next directory of things” and insists that something else happened in Brussels.
The “in Brussels talks is repeatedly said to have Kosovo-Serbia agreements for a draft state and has been brought to the table of dialogue. On May 2nd, I have patiently heard former SNS President Daniela Vujeciq, leader of the so-called Ekip Manager, repaying him half an hour for what Republika Srpska should look like in Kosovo. There has been much pressure on the government that we too can propose a draft, while its draft has been depreciated by the mediator”.
Kurti has said it has been very legitimate to raise this issue in Brussels by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
“Parapraly when it was raised by Serbia's president the issue of Association and such a thing, such an upgrade was considered legitimate by the mediators I had offered on March 18th, in three principles, to present the principles on which I sign the draft. They said it is unacceptable for Serbia, and therefore the issue was blocked”.
Kurti said that after Lajcak's recent statement, he has already lost his time discussing an internal issue of Kosovo in Brussels.
And now if the mediator's draft association is said to be an internal issue of Kosovo this is the next registry of things. In other words, we have lost time every time the association was established at the dialogue table in Brussels. But I've never raised, someone else did it. This means that time in Brussels for a draft of Association during these two years has been unnecessary as a topic, subsequently lost as a time. That's why I said that if it's a question exclusively of Kosovo, completely agreed, then Kosovo has domestic issues not only government, but also relevant ministers. I didn't say I was going to write it, but I said I could write the draft and tell who my ministers are about who they are”.
