Chairman Krasniqi, accompanied by the head of the Municipal Assembly of the Year, Bekim Azazi, once head of the PDK branch in the year, have discussed with entrepreneurs and athletes about the challenges they are facing, the demands and needs these communities have, in view of the discrimination government is making to the citizens of this municipality through budgetary divisions.
What even here notes is the tremendous discrimination that the central government is making to citizens of this municipality, as well as many other municipalities in Kosovo. Only 4 euros per capita by citizens of the Year has the Government allocated the next year's budget for new investment projects. It is unacceptable, it is truly an unprecedented discrimination and which does not help the further development of the community and municipality”, he stressed.
Krasniqi praised the private initiatives of the annual municipality entrepreneurs, who, as many undertakers, are managing to create jobs and are enabling local economic development despite lack of support from the Kurti Government.
Unfortunately, we have a falling economy, economic growth of about 3.5 percent of low export, with investments lower than in the past, and no developmental perspective, so for these meetings it has been very important for us to take the inputs of entrepreneurs, take the inputs of local businesses to actually offer, not just our concrete programmes and projects, but to become part of a new governing model, which we are implementing at the local level, which we will also apply at the central level of<1>, the chairman Krasniqi stressed.
While the head of the Municipal Assembly of the Year, Bekim Azazi said the recommendations made by producers and athletes will take into account in drafting concrete programmes for them.
“In these meetings they had on the visit of several producers, given that production is the main thing, contributing to the country, which helps economic development, which also helps the prospect of young people. Today, we are also visiting the World Basketball Club to grant will to our people, our young people, to engage in sports, to be worth”, Asia stressed.
During his visit to the Committee of the Year, Mayor Krasniqi visited the company “EuroFisi”, which deals with the production of styropor, nets and thermosonic materials.
He also looked closely at the work of Mrs. Valbona Ajjeti's company, “Grasep”, which deals with vegetable accounting.
In the end, Mayor Krasniqi visited the basketball club “Vita”, where about 100 members of all new categories hold exercises.
