Konjufca says it's better to go to early elections

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said that in his trial it would be better to move to early elections, so that the full end of the party government's mandate he participated in, the Vetevendosje Movement, is not expected.

These comments, Konjufca made in an interview for “Klan Kosova”, where he stressed that “could not rule out the possibility of early elections”.

It seems to me that the mandate, if the government thinks it should go to the end, who I am to mix up with, but, because of the 2024 developments I mentioned, I would like, that's my most private opinion, that Kosovo not go through these processes, and that these processes affect the legitimacy of future power in Kosovo”, Conjufca said.

“I would like more, is the option that I think would be much more desirable... this is not for Vetevendosje Movement, I have for Kosovo, it would be healthier for the legitimacy of the new power to face those challenges, not those challenges to direct the character of legitimacy”.
