The event, which began Thursday's noon in Pristina's “Arberia”, lasted several hours.
Police have announced that after intensive investigations and collection of evidence in Pristina, Fushe Kosovo and Caralev police operation, which has involved control in seven different locations, with the aim of identifying and arresting suspected persons.
During the action, there was the shootout of suspected persons with the police.
“During the development of the police operation, a suspect has fired gunfire towards police officials, directly risking their lives, by which the police official has been wounded. Police officials in self-defense have been forced to use proportional force, able to neutralise one suspect, while four other suspects have been arrested. So far the number of those arrested has gone to seven persons, one neutralised and another still found in police search”, police announced during yesterday.
Police said suspected persons have a criminal record with allegations of involvement in criminal acts, such as murder, robbery, heavy theft, assault, deportation, bodily injury, obligation, illegal possession, etc.
Regarding the November 22nd robbery in a jewelry store in Suhareka, silversmith “Buraku” has also been arrested in Pristina. The event was carried out by four police officials who took out customers at the bar, and then arrested the owner. Then the jewelry is closed.
One of those arrested for armed robbery in Suhareka appears to be Bujar Basha from Prizren.
